Cervélo TestTeam is pleased to announce that Quarq Technology has become a sponsor of the team.
Quarq will supply the men and women’s Cervélo TestTeams with bicycle data systems, including Quarq’s new CinQo power sensor. The Quarq CinQo is a crankset based power measurement system and has raised the bar in ease of use, durability and weight.

“I set out three years ago to build a world class power measurement system”, says James Meyer Quarq founder and engineer. “Our involvement with Cervélo TestTeam is a testament to how far we have come and is the perfect environment for us to further pursue this goal.”

Meyer is excited about the future improvements that will stem from the TestTeam effort. “Historically power meters are fickle devices.  Pro cycling teams need a simple, robust and accurate power measurement solution.  I think the CinQo is a great solution and I have no doubt that it will get even better from our involvement with the TestTeam.”

“Any fact-based engineering effort requires data,” says Gerard Vroomen, co-founder of Cervélo, “Quarq is an important piece of that puzzle and we are pleased to have them on board.”
About Cervélo TestTeam

Thought leaders in the bike industry – Cervélo, Zipp, Speedplay, Vittoria, 3T, fi’zi:k, Castelli and Rotor Bike Components have put a new spin on professional cycling and product innovation with the formation of the Cervélo TestTeam. Though the arrivals of 2008 Tour de France winner Carlos Sastre and sprint ace Thor Hushovd leave no doubt about the performance level of the team, racing success is not the team’s only goal. Of equal importance to the partners in this project, is the involvement of the Cervélo TestTeam riders in product development and technical feedback. Last but not least, riders will participate in activities with customers, making the sport more accessible to cycling fans.
