Ken Mills Becomes General Manager of KBS Pro Team

“Ken’s done a terrific job since he joined the program,” says Jonas Carney, performance director. “He has a great instinct for racing, knows everyone in the business and has become an invaluable member of team management. He’s played a big role in allowing our program to expand rapidly and for us to have athletes racing domestically and internationally at the same time.”

Mills will continue to work with the team’s athletes but also assume responsibility for team logistics, shipping, transportation and travel as well as liaison with sponsors and partners of the program. The move enables Carney to focus his time exclusively on athlete and program development, race and season strategy and growing the KBS program internationally – a key goal for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. He will also assume many of the management tasks handled by Charles Aaron and the team’s parent company Circuit Global Sport Management.

Mills’ new position is effective immediately as the Kelly Benefit Strategies team prepares to go into two training camps in Winter Park CO this week, and San Antonio, TX in February.
