Illinois State Cyclocross championships set for Chicago

(Chicago, Illinois – December 1, 2009) – The IL State Cyclocross Championships is scheduled for Sunday, December 6 at Montrose Harbor in the City of Chicago.  This is the last event for the Chicago Cyclocross Cup.

Turin Bicycle of Evanston http://turinbicycle.com host establishment and club have assembled an enhanced prize list. The event will carry a cash payout of $1,170 plus additional merchandise prizes.  The improved payout schedule includes a deeper prize distribution to the Elite Women and beginner women racers; in addition, to prizes for all men and junior racers.

Turin Bicycle of Evanston will be collecting non-perishable goods as part of a food drive to benefit the Chicago Food Depository. So riders are encouraged to drop by the store by Tuesday, December 10th or bring canned goods to the race site on Sunday, December 6th.
