Felt Bicycles and the UCI have joined forces to provide rising talent with bicycles supplied by the American company.

Felt has signed a partnership agreement to supply 120 bikes to the UCI’s World Cycling Center, in Aigle, Switzerland, as part of the UCI’s development program.

Bikes will cross all disciplines, including road, time trialing, track, mountain biking and BMX.

“(We are) very happy to be a sponsor of this extraordinary infrastructure and to support the athletes training there,” said Bill Duehring, president of Felt Bicycles. “(We are) especially proud to contribute to the success of riders from emerging countries who do not yet have the resources to allow them to achieve their Olympic dreams.”

The partnership will run through 2012 and the first Felt frames will begin arriving at the WCC later this month.

Since opening in 2002, the World Cycling Centre has trained some 750 athletes from 113 countries.
