Petacchi wins Stage 2 of Reggio Calabria

Alessandro Petacchi (Lampre-Farnese Vini) won Stage 2 of the Giro della Provincia Reggio Calabria on Sunday.
Petacchi took the bunch sprint ahead of Francisco Ventoso (CarmioOro-NGC) and Mattia Gavazzi (Colnago CSF Inox) to notch his first victory of 2010 in the 171km stage from Cosenza to Crotone.
Matteo Montaguti (De Rosa-Stac Plastic) retained the overall lead, four seconds ahead of Filippo Savini (Colnago CSF Inox). Francisco Jose Ventoso (CarmioOro-NGC) sits third at 25 seconds.
