Reigning Olympic champion, Samuel Sanchez, showed up at this week’s Volta ao Algarve with a special edition Orbea Orca, designed to commemorate his gold-medal ride in Beijing. VeloNews’ Andrew Hood got a close look at the bike Sanchez says just “feels faster.”

    Is this any different from the golden bike he rode last year? And by that I mean, this is no different than the golden bike he rode last year.
  • Nice to be able to ride the gold medal wave for four years instead of just one as world champion.
