Samuel Dumoulin (Cofidis) won the Etoile de Bessèges on Sunday as Niko Eeckhout (Sean Kelly) won the fifth and final stage.
Eeckhout took the 145km stage in a bunch sprint from Valentin Iglinsky (Astana) and Hans Dekkers (Landbouwkrediet-Colnago).
Despite his relegation in Stage 4 for taking the wrong way around a traffic circle in the finale, Dumoulin wound up with the overall victory by three seconds over Matthieu Ladagnous (Française des Jeux). Pieter Ghyllebert (Sean Kelly) rounded out the podium a further second in arrears.
