I just wanted to say thank you for existing. This site is amazing and it makes me happy to know it's here. It makes me feel so much better that there are good jobs out there for people like me who care about making this earth a better place for our children. Robin Morton's American registered team raced in Europe in 1984 with John Eustice and Michael Carter. All the team finished the Giro as well as a number of other smaller stage races and single day events. 7-11 got bigger results and had bigger names, but Morton's team did beat 7-11 to Europe by a year. She was also the first female team manger in the Pro ranks.

I still vividly remember the battle of wits between Ballerini and Duclos-Lassalle in the closing kms of the '93 Roubaix. I was watching the video with some non-cycling friends who finally understood why it's called “Chess on wheels”.
