I smiled when I read about how crazy sprints are now. As Mr. Pelkey says, Freire sounds like a married man. He came to Cancun last fall with his family, and I see why he can have second thoughts when the going gets rough in the last K.

The good thing is that he has earned a position in which he is not desperate to take big risks and contest every sprint he can.
He is one of the few who can make it through a tough selection and win a sprint off a small group, or he can win a field sprint after a killer course, as the Worlds usually are.
I would be thrilled to see Freire beat Cav' at the wolds. I hope the course is tough enough and Cav doesn't make it to the finish so fresh and behind Wiggo in the last K, otherwise we all know what is going to happen.
