Sebastien Haedo finished top five twice at last year’s San Dimas Stage Race, the top results his then Colavita-Sutter Home team could muster in the season opener. Ivan Dominguez steps into Haedo’s shoes for the first time Friday as the Jamis-Sutter Home Men’s Cycling Team presented by Colavita looks to improve on those results in the 2010 domestic opener.

Jamis-Sutter Home will open the 2010 domestic season this weekend at San Dimas. The team begins the North American season with a stage win and numerous podium finishes to its credit. At the Rutas de Americas in Uruguay, Alejandro Borrajo sprinted to victory in the stage 2 road race. His brother Anibal took third in the next stage and finished fifth overall.

Luis Amaran provided an outstanding preview of his versatility at the Valley of the Sun Stage Race last month, taking second in the time trial, second in the criterium, third in the road race, and second on general classification.

“Jamis-Sutter Home is excited to return to North America for the start of NRC racing,” said director Sebastian Alexandre. “Last year, our squad took second overall at Redlands so we are aiming for the win this year.”
