Belgian rider Jens Keukeleire (Cofidis) won the opening stage of the Three Days of West Flanders on Friday.

The 21-year-old neo-pro won a bunch sprint ahead of French rider Rony Martias and German Paul Voss.

It’s the second win of the week for the rising prospect, who stunned the pro Wednesday by claiming victory in the GP Samyn in Belgium.

The race continues Saturday with the 176.6km second stage from Torhout to Handzame.
