Luke Roberts was handed the first berth on the Milram team to complete the German-backed squad for the 2010 Tour de France.

Roberts, who won a stage earlier this year at the Vuelta a Murcia, rounds out the team’s lineup that includes stage-hunters and a shot at the top-10 overall with Linus Gerdemann. The 28-year-old German will lead Milram in what could be its last Tour, as the team’s sponsorship future remains unsettled.

Joining Gerdemann on the front line will be sprinter and former U23 world champion Gerald Ciolek, who notched six top 10s in sprints last year in his second crack at the Tour.

Also lining up for Milram will be stage-hunters Fabian Wegmann, Niki Terpstra and Christian Knees.
