Could be you.

Tour de France owner Amaury Sport Organisation announced Tuesday that it is preparing a Paris-Roubaix cyclosportive for next year.

The event will be held Saturday, April 9, the day before Paris-Roubaix, starting in Saint-Quentin, along the same route and utilizing the same cobbled sectors as the Queen of the Classics.

Several different distances will be available for amateur participants of varying abilities. The finishing line for all will be in the Roubaix Velodrome, just 24 hours before cycling’s elite riders bring the crowds.

It’s not ASO’s first venture into mass-participation events; every July the race organizers offer up an organized ride along a marquee stage of the Tour.

This year on Sunday, July 18, riders will embark on the Etape du Tour Mondovélo, covering the route of this year’s stage 14 from Pau to the Col du Tourmalet.

Registration for the Roubaix cyclosportive opens in September.
