I like that comment: “It was a little bit of pain and suffering near the top, but overall it was a good day.” It looked like quite a BIT of pain and suffering all the way up the Tourmalet…Great Stuff! I recall Chris saying in an interview a few years ago that the toughest race he'd ever done was the sprint for the city limit sign on the Santa Cruz group ride…he's probably the coolest regular guy pro rider out there…

Agree!!!! Hummer guy needs to to back to commentating for Ultimate fighting. How many times do we have to hear about him riding with George Hincapie. Alright i get it!!!! And stop basking and glorifying yourself when you get the stupid yellow jersey.

Without doubt Horner is the strongest of the bunch of “Oldies” from Team Radioshack. He has been really phenomenal through out the tour so far. And also the best guy in the peloton.

Liking it although perhaps it should be reserved for the unsung heroes of the peloton, the ones with little chance of a jersey. Not that Cancellara and Hushovd don't deserve recognition. Next question though is what is the All Merckx team equivalent of the turducken?

That hummer guy is a bum. I really hope that he isn't going to be the one that takes over for Phil and Paul when they are done. I really wish that the Vuelta would realize that the Shack is a good team and deserves to be in that race. It's only a pity that they aren't.

Maybe Chris should get a director sportif job after he retires from racing the bike himself. Not that I see any reason for him to hang up the bike any time soon.

It is great to see Horner having a solid race. Just think where he would be placed if he didn't have to chaperone the Lance around. He made up 10 minutes one day once Lance let him go. He could be in top 5 if he was riding for himself. Chris has always been a fun rider to follow. I've found him to be one of the most approachable riders at the Tour of Cali each year too. An all around great guy and awesome racer. Go old guys!Excellent ride Chris!

I think Andy shleck is a glory-hogging hound and cry baby who, if he were half the man Contador is, should've given the stage to the REAL champion for keeping up with him, cause he'd already won a stage before. But he talks too much smack and and like Sastre says”is a spoilt brat'. He has alot to learn about humbleness and dignity, gifts that Contador already posseses.

Horner has been my favorite rider since I watched Pro and saw him hammer up the Manayunk wall time and time again. He never gives up and seems to be a classy guy. Kudos on a top 10 Chris!
