Eurobike report: New road bikes from Time, De Rosa, Wilier and Storck

Every year at Eurobike, Marcus Storck creates a special bike.

This year, the new Fascenario 0.6 adopts the hidden brake design that Storck pioneered on last year's Aero 2 time trial bike.

Regardless of the bike, hidden brakes always make for a clean profile to the bike.

Storck's seatstays have to bulge somewhat to enclose the brakes.

Up front, the brakes are likewise hidden. This time, in the fork blades and crown.

After building the fork for his Aero 2, Storck probably didn't have to stretch far to use it on one of his distinctive road bikes.

Storck's brakes are ultralight, carbon fiber side pull v-style cantilever arms.

The short arms require a curved cable noodle as was used on mountain bikes back before discs.

As you might expect on a bike with hidden brakes, the Fascenario 0.6 is built around Di2 with hidden wires.

Even if Dura-Ace chainrings are bolted on, lighter carbon crankarms substitute for Shimano.

The cranks turn around internal BB bearings.

Once you've gotten the idea of internalized, hidden brake arms, it's hard not to look and then look again and again.

Super slick on the Storck is a battery mounting rail that's molded in with the frame.

Sign me up for a Fascenario 0.6. It's all unidirecional carbon but unfortunately costs 7500 Euro for the frame and fork.

Next in line, the Fascenario 0.7 sports normal brake calipers.

Storck's Fenomenalist is also popular.

Time's new RXRS Ulteam frame module has a number of cool features for 2011.

Time built the Ulteam to be aerodynamic, but it's got major vibration damping technology built in.

Time was one of the first with an integrated seat mast.

New for 2011 on the Ulteam frame platform is a BB30 bottom bracket shell.

Time also pioneered the use of larger lower headset bearings nested directly in the head tube.

Even at a complex fork crown junction, Time's molding yields smooth inner walls on the structures.

In addition to molding their own frames in house, Time also weaves its own carbon fiber cloth.

Time trial bikes are not a big part of the company's catalogue, but this wild looking bike lurked in the corner of Time's booth.

Possibly the sweetest option in Time's stand is this Ulteam DI2 bike with wires pre-routed from the factory.

Even during the manufacturing stage Time accounts for the Di2 wiring if that's the bike you order.

With a pre-routed internal Di2 wire kit on the Time Ulteam RXRS, all you have to do is charge the battery.

Time chainstays haven't reached the oversized proporions of some of their competitors, but still should deliver plenty of stiffness.

If you prefer Shimano cranks, an internal BB86 bottom bracket option is available from Time.

Everyone seems to have a different solution to the Di2 battery pack, but Time's is certainly unique on the Ulteam.
