Phinney, Farrar, Hammer and others head to British Columbia four-day race over the holidays

Taylor Phinney, Tyler Farrar, Svein Tuft, Zach Bell and Sarah Hammer are among the riders expected to start a four-day track competition in Burnaby, British Columbia, next month.
The Saputo Burnaby 4 Day is being held at the Burnaby Velodrome at the Harry Jerome Sport Centre, December 27-30. The event has a total prize list of $10,000 and awards UCI points valuable for qualifying for world championship and Olympic teams.
The pro/elite men will compete in three to five events each evening for four days. Their races will total more than 200 kilometers (124 miles) or riding.
