Still cool bikes: Pegasus Sports’ Scott team bikes

Late last year, VeloNews tech editor Nick Legan got a chance to take a look at the Pegasus Sports team’s 2011 race bikes. While the team’s future is uncertain at this point, the bikes are still just as interesting. Take a look.

Team Pegasus' 2011 Scott FO1

Scott's F01 aero road bike was used at this year's Tour by Columbia-HTC. Pegasus will use the bike after HTC's switch to Specialized. The aero frame uses abbreviated airfoil shapes to decrease aerodynamic drag while maintaining ride quality and stiffness.

After graduating from Indiana University with honors and a degree in French and journalism, Nick Legan jumped straight into wrenching at Pro Peloton bike shop in Boulder for a few years.
