RENNES, France (AFP) — Anthony Charteau, winner of the climber’s competition at the 2010 Tour de France, has been sidelined for three weeks by a shoulder injury, his team, Europcar, said Wednesday.

Charteau crashed during the first stage of the Tour of South Africa last week.

He hopes to return to competition in time for the Paris-Cambembert one-day race on April 12.
