Kevin Pauwels (Telenet-Fidea) out-sprinted Philipp Walsleben (BKCP-Powerplus) and world champion Zdenek Stybar (Telenet-Fidea) to win the Internationale Cyclocross Heerlen GP Heuts on Sunday in the Netherlands.
It was the latest in a string of podium finishes for the young Telenet rider, who just the day before had finished second to Klaas Vantornout (Sunweb-Revor) in Middelkerke, Belgium, and clinched the runner-up spot in the 2010-11 Superprestige series behind Sven Nys (Lanbouwkrediet).
American Jonathan Page (Planet Bike) had a strong race, finishing just off the podium in fourth at seven seconds back.
