While the cobbles riders fight the weather in Flanders this weekend, American squad UnitedHealthcare will continue its European schedule Sunday with the Clasica de Almeria.

Boy Van Poppel and Robert Förster will lead the squad in the one-day semi-classic that starts and finishes on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. The team has been in the region for a week reconnoitering the race course.

Theo Bos narrowly edged Mark Cavendish for the win Almeria in 2010.
