Neben tops again in Redlands prologue

REDLANDS, California (VN) – Amber Neben is back in the driver’s seat Thursday after winning her second consecutive prologue at the Redlands Bicycle Classic. Neben (HTC-Highroad) clocked a time of 11:12 in the 3.7-mile uphill Sun Time Trial in Redlands, California. Her teammate, U.S. time trial champion Evelyn Stevens trailed in eight seconds slower, with Tibco-To The Top’s Erinne Willock finishing third in 11:25.

Former world and Olympic TT champion Kristin Armstrong (Peanut Butter & Co.-Twenty12) clocked a time of 11:46, good for fifth, four seconds behind Andrea Dvorak (Colavita-Forno D’Asolo).
