Mechanics build their own workstands for track use. This one is based on a Tacx Spider and allows the mechanic to easily change chainrings and cogs as well as check chain tension. Wild, like the entire Dutch squad, is sponsored by Shimano. Interestingly though she rides Speedplay pedals. Replaceable track ends are a great feature on any track bike. At the UCI Track World Championships in Apeldoorn, Netherlands Koga unveiled its latest pursuit bike creation: the Tee Tee Track bike. Kirsten Wild rode the bike in the pursuit portion of her omnium. Casey Gibson sent along a gallery of the striking machine. Tech Editor Nick Legan took a look and his comments accompany the images.
