Michael Matthews takes big win in Germany

Aussie sprinter Michael Matthews once again proved his pedigree with victory Monday at the one-day Rund um Köln in Germany.

Matthews, already a winner of stages at the Tour Down Under and the Tour of Murcia, kicked to his third win in his rookie season with an impressive ride in the 1.1-ranked race.

Crossing the line second was Marcel Kittel (Skil-Shimano), with Giacomo Nizzolo (Leopard-Trek) rounding out the podium with third.
