No 2011 Paris-Roubaix for Taylor Phinney

Phinney won't be on the cobbles of Roubaix this year.

BMC will release its Paris-Roubaix roster tomorrow and Taylor Phinney will not be on it.

Team officials confirmed to VeloNews that the 20-year-old will not ride the Hell of the North in his rookie season.

Phinney, a two-time winner of the U23 edition of Paris-Roubaix, has been hampered by injuries in the opening months of the 2011 season and will not be ready to race the demanding one-day classic.

Phinney was forced to abandon the Volta a Catalunya last month after suffering knee pain.
