Dowsett wins British time trial, one stage to go for Boom

Team Sky time trial specialist Alex Dowsett won Sunday’s 8.8km individual time trial at the Tour of Britain.

Race leader Lars Boom was just five seconds back in second place and retained the lead headed into Sunday’s second stage and the final test of his lead: a circuit race in central London.
