7,500 riders join Levi Leipheimer for 2011 King Ridge GranFondo

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (VN) — About 7,500 riders left here at 8 a.m. local time on Saturday to participate in the third annual running of Levi Leipheimer’s King Ridge GranFondo.

Three different courses were on tap, offering routes of 32, 65 and 103 miles. Several pro racers and industry luminaries also participated.
