Chasing the green jersey

On this kind of stage, where there is no obvious difficulty, it’s likely that Peter Sagan, Mark Cavendish, or André Greipel will be wearing the green jersey and be wanting to consolidate his grip. However, if you study the race, it is not out of the question that a man like Alberto Contador or Chris Froome might spend several days in green: They will score points in Corsica, in the Pyrénées, and in the time trial. So, the top sprinters, save for perhaps Sagan, will be back in the standings. We could see a strange situation that could spice up the race.
