Even though she won by a massive margin, Katie Compton (Rabobank) was not lacking in graciousness after her win at the 2012 USA Cycling cyclocross national championship, in Madison, Wisconsin. One of the highlights for her, though, was seeing her protégé, Kaitlin Antonneau (Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld), ride into second.
