Amber Neben, Evan Huffman and Julian Kyer win time-trial titles at USA Cycling road nationals

AUGUSTA, Georgia (VN) — Amber Neben, Evan Huffman and Julian Kyer won their respective 30km individual time trials on Thursday at the USA Cycling road national championships.
Neben and Specialized-Lululemon teammate Evelyn Stevens went one-two in the elite women’s ITT. Neben took the victory in 39 minutes and 27 seconds, just a second faster than Stevens. Alison Powers (NOW and Novartis for MS) finished third in 39:46.
Huffman (California Giant-Specialized) won the under-23 race in 36:40. G. Lawson Craddock (Bontrager-Livestrong) finished second in 36:57 with teammate Nathan Brown third in 37:15.
Kyer (Juwi Solar Cycling) took the elite men’s title in 36:36, with Timothy Mitchell (CCB Racing) second in 36:51 and Brant Speed (787 Racing) third in 37:24.
