To round out the weekend, there are plenty of options in the White Mountain trail system to explore for a recovery ride. Because the tour only links partial sections of each included trail, riders can revisit their favorite portion of the race to complete the trails in their entirety.

For the inside scoop on other riding in the area, racers can visit LBS (local bike shop) Cycle Mania on their way into town or the T.R.A.C.K.S. website includes trailhead directions, a map and elevation profile of each trail in the system. For the full scoop on the race, visit Epic Ride’s website and sign up for their e-newsletter for the most up-to-date info.

Stephanie is a former resident of the White Mountains, and shares a passion with all who enjoy long rides, short rides and pretty much anything in between. Plus, she’s keen on baking. Anyone fortunate enough to enjoy one of her baked goods should consider themselves in a select group of the highest and best nourished by unparalleled quality and food passion.
