Powers wins day 1 of the 2012 Planet Bike Cup

Jeremy Powers made it two-in-a-row Saturday, winning day one of the Planet Bike Cup in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Powers (Rapha-Focus) topped Tim Johnson (Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld.com) and Lukas Flückiger (Trek World Racing) in the first round of the Trek Bicycles U.S. Gran Prix of Cyclocross.

Powers and Johnson finished one-two at Clif Bar CrossVegas Wednesday and continued their streak Saturday.

The Planet Bike Cup continues Sunday.
