World Bicycle Relief donation >> $50-$134

What do you get the girl who has everything? A gift that benefits somebody who doesn’t. A bicycle can be the difference between a job or attending school and the alternative for a struggling family, and World Bicycle Relief has already put over 120,000 bicycles in deserving hands around the world, with a focus on providing bikes for female students.

The organization offers gifts in all price ranges, from chocolates to T-shirts to fine art to African bicycle tours to benefit the fund, and there’s always a good, old-fashioned donation.

Fifty dollars provides tools for a mechanic, $134 is all it costs to get two wheels under someone who needs them.

Emily Zinn

Emily Zinn spent her infancy in the back of a women's team van while the team built wheels around her. She spent part of her pre-teen years in Europe following the major European mountain, road and gravity races and touring cycling product factories. College was the first time she lived in a home without a frame building shop in her garage or basement. Her favorite style of riding is getting lost in singletrack trail networks and taking her time finding her way back.
