Shift Active Media, the company behind the successful IG Markets analysis videos featuring Daniel Lloyd, is set to launch a new project in the Global Cycling Network at the start of 2013. The network, in a partnership with YouTube, will feature daily video content from the world of cycling.
“At GCN we will be collaborating and cooperating with media owners, brands, fans and riders to make superb video material that fuels the cycling community on YouTube,” said a GCN spokesperson. “With more great content out there, cyclists will engage even more with the sport and the whole industry will benefit.”
GCN will distribute exclusively via its YouTube channel. Shift Active Media secured financial backing from Google, which it says backs cycling and wants to engage with the sport’s fan demographics.
