Race organizers have released the list of men’s teams that will compete at the Tour of Elk Grove next month.

The race, which runs from Aug. 2-4 near Chicago, has attracted Cannondale to the mix this year. Elia Viviani, who finished 119th in the Giro d’Italia in May and most recently won the second stage at Critérium du Dauphiné last month, headlines the team.

Another new squad to the race is MTN-Qhubeka, the South African-based UCI ProTeam that saw its rider Gerald Ciolek win Milano-Sanremo in March.

The men’s race starts with a 7.2-kilometer time trial on Aug. 2, followed by a 155km road race the next day. The race concludes with a 140km circuit race.

The women’s field of teams will be announced in the coming days.
