Tony Martin (Omega Pharma-Quick Step) won his third consecutive Chrono des Nations on Sunday.
Martin covered the 57km course in 1 hour, 10 minutes and 48 seconds, beating Gustav Larsson (IAM Cycling) by only 14 seconds.
Sylvain Chavanel (Omega Pharma) took third at 45 seconds.
Hanna Solovey won the 20.8km women’s race in 28:24, 43 seconds better than American Alison Tetrick (Exergy-Twenty16). Elisa Longo Borghini (Hitec) was third at 59 seconds.
Tetrick’s compatriot Amber Neben (Dare To Be Project), who won the event in 2011 and 2012, finished sixth.
