USA Cycling named its roster for the 2014 UCI Elite Cyclocross World Championships on Monday. World Cup champion Katie Compton (Trek Cyclocross Collective) and elite men’s national champion Jeremy Powers (Rapha-Focus) headline the team for the Feb. 1-2 championships in Hoogerheide, Netherlands.

Allen Krughoff (Raleigh-Clement), Elle Anderson (Cal Giant-Specialized), Crystal Anthony (Optum-Kelly Benefit Strategies), and Arley Kemmerer (Charm City Cycling) each made their first selection for a world championships team.

“After a very competitive year of cyclocross racing, culminating with the national championships in Boulder, we are able to name four very competitive world championship teams,” USA Cycling cyclocross program director Marc Gullickson said in a press release. “With a number of outright medal contenders being joined by a mix of accomplished veterans and future stars, I expect the team to be very competitive at the championships in Hoogerheide this year.”
